Asking for Help
As this site is developed, more help of a general nature will be available to any who wish to spend the time reading it.
For more detailed and site-specific assistance, I am available for garden consultation. I charge a small fee (based on distance from my office) for a site visit , and other fees are charged for any site work and plan development that you may wish to have done after we have discussed your goals and natural resources.
I will continue to add links to the Other Resources page. It is delightful to know that there are probably thousands of people and web sites, not to mention books and magazines, available to help you with just about any project you wish to tackle.
Sometimes, though, it is a big help to have someone look at your project area with you, helping you sort through your own priorities, and offering information you may not have discovered yet. It can save you time or money or sometimes both, depending on what you are aiming for.
Another option is for your club, organization or neighborhood to sponsor a class or classes. Fee structures are somewhat flexible, depending on your needs. Give me a call! I would love to work with a small group on shared garden concerns.
