Challenges of the Good Sort

I often consider challenges to be something I would rather not, but must, deal with.

Then there are the challenges that motivate me.

One that I have taken on is the challenge to simply weigh my harvest this year. It is part of a larger project taken on by a group of gardeners to demonstrate how productive home gardens and small farms can be. the goal is a million pounds of produce. Since we have members worldwide, the count is already on!

Those of us in the northeast will need to make our contributions later in the year, but we will have something to offer.

Have you thought of measuring your harvest? It can be a great, inexpensive reward for your efforts. It may even inspire your competitive friends to get involved with gardening, so that they can have their own "stats" at harvest time!
